Dexter's eyebrows shot up. There was no way he could picture Andre crying. "I don't know, I think Schwarzenegger is pretty cool." At Andre's doubtful look, Dexter rushed to clarify. "I'm just saying you can't fault the guy for terminating. He's the Terminator. He terminates. It's what he's programmed to do."

Andre stared at him with an intensity he couldn't quite decipher. He was suddenly aware of how much closer they had gotten. "Y'know, it's embarrassing, because he really isn't all that attractive, considering," Andre said. Dexter blinked at him dumbly, the sudden shift in conversation throwing him off. "But for the longest time, I had a big crush on the guy."

It took Dexter an embarrassingly long time to register what Andre was trying to say, and even longer to realize Andre was looking at him expectantly. Dexter knew that look. It was probably the same one on his face, but far, far less attractive. That's why it really shouldn't have come as such a surprise to him when their lips met as Kyle Reese was blown to smithereens on screen.

Andre's lips were soft and giving under his own, and he wasn't sure how it had all come to this so fast—maybe it was all that excess adrenaline that seemed to be perpetually thrumming under his skin, who knew—but, yeah, it was definitely a kiss. Andre was kissing him.

The kiss was chaste, tentative in a way that told him that Andre was as cautious about this as he was. It didn't take long for Andre to grow bolder, his hand reaching up to tilt his head gently so their lips slotted together more easily and yeah, Dexter was pretty much gone. He felt lightheaded, drunk, and a bunch of other embarrassing clichés he was too happy to scold himself for at the moment.

Dexter felt himself being slowly but steadily pushed backward until his back met the carpet. Andre's weight pressed against him, a secure warmth that Dexter wanted to welcome eagerly, but there was something important he knew he had to say. Reluctantly, he pulled away with a wet smack.

Andre looked down at him, confused and fearful. "Did I do something wrong?"

Dexter shook his head and gripped Andre's bicep reassuringly. "No, just—okay, so, I'm not really into the whole 'sex' thing." He titled his head up to catch a glimpse of the screen before locking eyes with Andre. "I'm what you'd call asexual, which doesn't mean I can reproduce by myself—that sounds horrifying—but, yeah. So, if you're looking to do the, uh, do, I'm not your guy. But, I'm a really awesome kisser—at least, that's what my girlfriend in 7th grade told me one time—and if you're into dudes who can build sweet pillow forts, boy, do I have a treat for you—"

"Okay," Andre said, cutting off Dexter's rambling.

Dexter blinked up at him, uncomprehending. Christ, he was short-circuiting too much. "Okay?"

Andre nodded. He rolled off him and stood up, offering a hand to pull him up. "Okay. Show me one of those pillow forts you're so great at, Wu.
